Intisari

ABSTRACT
Covid-19 is the third corona virus that causes global alertness in countries around the world. Vitamin C is thought to be helpful in the prevention of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus2 (SARS-CoV-2). At the beginning of this pandemic, many people flocked to buy vitamin C to improve the body's immune system, therefore it is important to conduct this study to determine the relationship between the level of public knowledge and behavior in using vitamin C in the COVID-19 pandemic. This type of research is a case study in the form of a survey with a cross sectional approach and the sampling method is purposive sampling. The majority of respondents' knowledge of vitamin C is included in the sufficient category with a percentage of 49%. The behavior of using vitamin C is included in the sufficient category with a percentage of 65%. In the Spearman analysis correlation test, it shows that the knowledge and behavior of respondents has a relationship with a significance of 0.01 with a correlation coefficient of 0.332 (moderate category) and shows a positive correlation direction (+). The statistical value of R-square in the ordinal regression test obtained is the Cox and Snell coefficient value of .118, the value of the Nagelkerke coefficient of .143, and the coefficient value of McFadden of .072 which means that the influence of knowledge level on the behavior of vitamin C use in this study is only by 7.2% - 14.3%. The respondent's knowledge and behavior of using vitamin C is included in the sufficient category. There is a relationship between knowledge and behavior of respondents indicated by a significance of 0.01 with a correlation coefficient of 0.332 (moderate category) and indicates a positive correlation direction (+). The level of knowledge on the behavior of using vitamin C in this study was only 7.2% - 14.3%.
